The Fortress of Solitude Conference Room was created from an existing relatively unused circulation space between the Library and the Gary Coon Building. NU requested a conference room with clean lines and tight detailing to serve as a showcase space and a destination for formal entertaining, while serving the student body as classroom and study room.
It is fitted out with the NU standard seminar room audio/visual equipment housed in elegant clear finished plyboo millwork.
Existing access to the Gary Coon building has been maintained via an accessible ramp with stainless steel handrails.
